Da gibt es doch tatsächlich eine böse Sicherheitslücke (s.a. Heise-Ticker). Ich habe dann gleichmal die Variante des Updates auf Version 4.3.3 gewählt:

wget -N http://sourceforge.net/projects/typo3/files/TYPO3%20Source%20and%20Dummy/TYPO3%204.3.3/typo3_src-4.3.3.tar.gz/download
tar xzf typo3_src-4.3.3.tar.gz
mv typo3_src-4.3.3 /typo3/
cd /typo3/
rm typo3_src
ln -sf typo3_src-4.3.3 typo3_src
touch ./htdocs/typo3conf/ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL
# Im Browser das Typo3-Backend starten
## Im linken Menü den Punkt 'Installation' wählen
## Im Punkt 'Update Wizard'
rm ./htdocs/typo3conf/ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL

Bei mir gab es auf der Backend-Seite dann ein entspanntes:

changeCompatibilityVersion

Up to date!
If you do not use the wizard, your current TYPO3 installation is configured to use all the features included in the current release 4.3.3.
